Let’s delve into three powerful moves that not only bring out the best in your legs but also amplify your endurance to flaunt them confidently on stage.

  • Toes Out: Begin by standing tall with your chest up and your heels grounded. Focus on resisting the urge to look down at your feet. Instead, maintain a forward gaze or utilize a mirror. This move primarily targets the quads. Keep your toes either together or slightly apart and feel the engagement in your quads as you perform this move.
  • Heels Together: Press your heels together while keeping a slight bend in your knees. This motion activates your inner thighs (adductors). Ensure your thighs don’t excessively press together; maintain a small space between them to fully engage the inner thighs without compromising form.
  • Legs Together: Concentrate on pulling your feet together or around your arches. Channel your focus on engaging the hamstrings while adducting your legs. Emphasize the sensation in your hamstrings, and if needed, increase the squeeze gradually to feel the desired engagement.

Now, the challenge lies in executing all three moves simultaneously, engaging every muscle in your legs while consciously relaxing your glutes. This holistic engagement is crucial for a balanced and poised stage presence. As leg muscles demand substantial energy, incorporate this exercise separately into your posing practice regimen to gradually build stamina over time.
